Privacy and analytics
Updated 4 October 2026.
Optional visitor analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, traffic sources, pages read, and reading engagement. It processes browser and device information and uses cookies to distinguish visits. Google receives network information when your browser connects to its service.
Analytics does not load before you accept. Rejecting keeps Google Analytics off. We do not enable advertising personalisation or Google signals, and we omit query strings and fragments from the page address we send. Referring addresses are reduced to their website origin.
Your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting after accepting stops collection on this site, clears its Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page. It does not erase data already collected by Google. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, it may be requested again.
Search and hosting
Google Search Console reports how our pages appear in Google Search; it does not add a visitor tracking script. Vercel hosts the site and processes requests needed to deliver its pages.
Read Google's privacy policy and Vercel's privacy policy for information about their services.
